Q: How long does it take to get a bid from your company?
A: Beginning on the day of your in-home consultation appointment, it only takes
3-5 days to get your cabinetry bid from us!
Q: How can I get educated on the construction of your cabinets?
A: Our website contains detailed information on our cabinet construction, another
option would be to consult with any one of our knowledgeable sales associates!
Q: How can I get your company's catalog?
A: Bardon's catalog is located online at BardonCabinets.com. We have gone to
great lengths to provide you with a very user-friendly website that is full of
useful information, as well as photos and descriptions of kitchens, vanity and media
displays, as well as other cabinetry pieces that we have created over the years. We
also encourage you to visit our Miramar Showroom and Design Center for over 9,000
square feet of displays that will help spark your creativity and offer helpful
design ideas.
Q: How many different door styles does your company offer? Where can I see them
all?
A: Bardon offers an endless array of door styles. We are continuously adding
new ones to our list. If you have a particular style in mind, all you need to
do is bring us a sample and we can create it for you! We do offer many standard
door styles that are available for you to choose from. We showcase all of our
standard styles in our Miramar Showroom and Design Center displays. Our website also
contains photos of our showroom displays within the Idea Book that feature our
standard European-style and traditional door styles.
Q: Does your company do cabinet re-facing?
A: Bardon does not offer cabinet re-facing, nor do we recommend it!
Q: What areas of the county does Bardon serve?
A: Bardon serves the Southwest area including but not limited to: San Diego,
Riverside, Coachella, and Orange counties as well as their surrounding areas.
Bardon also serves areas of Arizona!
Q: Do you sell countertops? Do you install them with my cabinets?
A: Bardon does offer countertops, but we work through an outside supplier for
our materials and our fabrication/installation. We will assist you in obtaining
the pricing and we will assist you in the scheduling/coordination of the fabrication
and installation of your countertops if you purchase through our referred companies.
Countertop fabrication and installation cannot happen until after your cabinets
are installed. After installation, your countertops will be templated and shortly
after that, your countertops will be installed by the fabricator. Granite countertops
usually take 10-14 days to be templated and installed.
Q: Do you sell appliances?
A: Bardon does not actually sell appliances. We provide our customers with the
benefit of an Appliance Specialist, located right there in our Miramar Showroom & Design
Center. This person can help you pick out your appliances, as well as make sure
the model numbers and specs get relayed to our manufacturing team. Your appliance purchase,
however, will be made with a separate company.
Q: Do you provide cabinet removal or any other contractor services?
A: Cabinet removal is an option that is provided to our customers through an
outside contracting company from Bardon's referral list. All of the contractors
on our referral list have been thoroughly screened by our company for their license
requirements and standings, as well as being bonded and insured. Bardon has
created a convenient "All-in-One" package of services that consists
of cabinet demolition and removal from premises, wall repair and primer coat
of paint, appliance installation and sink installation. This package can certainly
be included in your cabinetry bid upon request by the customer.
Q: Do I have to use your referrals for countertops, appliances, and contractors?
A: Bardon provides referrals to our customers to help make the process of remodeling
their kitchen easier. Taking advantage of our referrals is in no way a requirement!
You are welcome to use your own choice of company for these products and services,
however, Bardon will not necessarily be able to assist in the coordination of
schedules, ensure timeliness, and/or quality of work.
Q: What is your turn-around time? How long will I be without my kitchen?
A: Depending on the scope of your kitchen remodel, most customers have a complete
kitchen (cabinets, countertops and appliances installed) within 2-3 weeks after
their existing cabinets have been removed.
Q: What if I already know my kitchen measurements, must I still have an in-home
consultation?
A: Yes, Bardon requires the initial in-home consult because we manufacture a
custom built product. Everything is made-to-order. It is in everyone's best interest
to allow our trained design associates to obtain all the necessary information
they feel is needed to provide you with an accurate bid. By allowing Bardon
in to your home to take measurements, we are better able to avoid unforeseen
design errors when we get to the manufacturing process.
Q: Do you offer financing options?
A: There are some promotional time periods where Bardon offers financing options
for our customers. It is not always available, but it is always dependent upon
credit approval. If this is something that you are certain will be necessary
for you to remodel your kitchen, please let us know and we will see what options
we can provide to you.
Q: Does Bardon use water-based finishes? Will you use a water-based finish if
I request it?
A: Bardon is proud to be able to use the highest quality mineral-based finishes.
We do not use any water-based products in our finishing systems, only conversion
varnishes and pre-catalyzed lacquers are used. If you insist that a water
based finishing product is used on your cabinetry, we will accommodate you, however,
we will not be able to provide a warranty on your cabinetry, due to the nature
of water-based finishes. They do not last as long, nor do they protect your
natural wood product the way conversion varnishes do. Please consult one of
our sales associate for more information on this topic.
Q: How long does it take to install a kitchen?
A: Installation occurs the day after your cabinetry delivery. Installation can usually
be completed in one day, however, in some cases, we may need a subsequent day
to complete your installation.
Q: What happens after I make my purchase? Who do I call if I have more questions?
A: After you purchase your new cabinetry from Bardon, we provide you with a Project
Manager to handle your job from point-of-sale through installation of your countertops & appliances. Most of the time, you will meet your Project Manager during your final sales appointment with us! Your Project Manager will assist you with scheduling your timeline
and appointments, as well as serve as a liaison between you and any outside company you
were referred to through us. She/he will be there to answer any questions you
have, as well as solve any issues that may arise during the course of your project.
